Skipping Boys are one of the most prominent rope skipping teams in Czechia. Over 18 years, they have racked up hundreds of performances, workshops and competitions, and today rank among the TOP 5 teams in Europe and TOP 10 in the world.
Their achievements go beyond performances and shows. Skipping Boys have long been among the Czech rope skipping elite, and in 2026 they confirmed it once again at the European Championships in Norway.
One of Skipping Boys' biggest achievements at the European Rope Skipping Championships 2026 was the duo Jan Dostál and Michal Trojan. In the Wheel Pair Freestyle, Men 16+ discipline, they advanced from qualification to the final and on August 14, 2026 won the bronze medal. This also meant they defended their bronze from the previous European Championships.
Wheel Pair Freestyle is a technical pair discipline in which two jumpers work with two ropes, combining synchronization, tricks and freestyle elements. This type of discipline is very close to Skipping Boys - on their own website, they state that they focus mainly on freestyle disciplines and show contests.
But the team's successful week did not end there. As part of the European Open Tournament, held during the same European championship, Skipping Boys members added further medal placements.
Michal Trojan, together with Lada Hofmanová, won silver in Single Rope Double Unders Relay, Mixed 16+.
The duo Jan Dostál and Michal Trojan took 2nd place in Single Rope Pair Freestyle, Men 16+.
Michal Trojan, Veronika Dvořáková and Amálie Svobodová won gold in Double Dutch Speed Sprint, Mix 16+.
And Amálie Svobodová, Jan Dostál and Michal Trojan added another gold in Double Dutch Single Freestyle, Mix 16+.
Amálie Svobodová also won silver in Single Rope Individual Freestyle, Women 16+.
Skipping Boys are not interesting just for their results. They are among the pioneers of rope skipping in Czechia. They started in 2008, traveled with their ropes to numerous countries around the world, and performed everywhere from small events to the O2 Arena. According to their own website, they were the first Czechs to bring home medals from the European Championships.
The team is also behind the development of the next generation of jumpers - they coach the children's group Skipping Buddies at Sokol Libeň.
Team founder Jan Dostál has been involved in rope skipping since 2008. His notable achievements include bronze at the 2019 World Championships in single freestyle and a final at the 2022 European Championships.
We are all the more delighted that Skipping Boys also jump on LAMALU ropes.
For us, it is powerful to see our ropes not just with kids, beginners and hobby jumpers, but also in the hands of people pushing jumping to a European competitive level.
But the biggest credit belongs to them - the hours of training, technique, teamwork and effort that are not visible behind the results.
