For advanced jumpers, there is also the option to customize the rope by replacing the cord with a thicker one or swapping short handles for long handles.

What is the difference between a beaded jump rope and a classic jump rope?

A beaded jump rope is heavier, has better momentum in motion, and you can feel it better in the air, which gives you better feedback about where it is and makes mistakes less likely. That’s why it is the best choice for learning the basics of jumping as well as advanced freestyle tricks. If you want to start and enjoy jumping from the beginning, we recommend a beaded jump rope. If you want to learn new freestyle tricks, a beaded jump rope is definitely the right choice.

Are your jump ropes suitable for more advanced jumpers as well?

Yes. Beaded jump ropes are not only for beginners. They are also used for advanced freestyle. Even at the World Championships, jumpers have won freestyle disciplines using beaded jump ropes.

How are your jump ropes different from other brands?

The biggest difference lies in our choice of colors, the option to build your jump rope your own way, and in our values and the energy we send into the world through our ropes — that we are great just as we are, that we jump for joy, and that it is not about pushing hard, but about getting to know yourself, listening to your body, and growing with love and compassion for yourself through small, consistent steps.

What jump rope size should I order?

The Kids jump rope is for heights up to 155 cm. The Adult jump rope is for heights up to 210 cm. You can then easily shorten the rope to your exact height. If your height is right on the edge between sizes, feel free to message us :)

Can the jump rope be shortened after purchase?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can shorten the jump rope after purchase according to your height. We also include a short guide with the rope explaining how to do it. A more detailed explanation can be found on the Jump rope sizing page.

Can the jump rope be lengthened later as well?

Accepted Answer

In some cases, yes. If you leave some extra cord when shortening it and keep the removed beads, you can add them back later. This is especially practical for children who are still growing.

Kids or adult jump rope?

Accepted Answer

Functionally, both sizes are exactly the same. The only difference is the length of the cord and the number of beads (80 / 110 beads). So it depends on the jumper’s height. For jumpers up to 155 cm, the kids size is enough. Of course, you can also choose the adult size and shorten it, while keeping the extra beads as spare ones in case the originals get worn out. If the child grows and really gets into jumping, a longer cord and extra beads can be purchased later.

Is size important for beginners too?

Yes, very much. The wrong length can make the beginnings unnecessarily difficult. That’s why we recommend choosing by height — Kids size up to 155 cm, Adult size up to 210 cm. Then shorten it at home according to the included instructions. If you’re unsure, feel free to message us.

It depends more on the child’s coordination and interest than on their exact age. Our children have been jumping since they were three years old. The youngest ones enjoy jumping together with a parent — they stand in front of the parent, the parent swings the rope, and they jump over it together.

How quickly do you ship orders?

Accepted Answer

We try to ship orders as quickly as possible, often as soon as the next day after the order is placed. Delivery itself is usually within about 2 days in Slovakia and the Czech Republic, 3–4 days in Poland, and 4–7 days in other countries.

Is cash on delivery available?

Accepted Answer

Yes for Slovakia, the Czech Republic, and Poland, but not for other countries. But please, do collect your cash-on-delivery packages, otherwise we’ll have to cancel this option...

What should I do if my payment didn’t go through?

Do you have glow-in-the-dark beads?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can find them as GLOW among the components or in the bead color customization on a specific rope. If you’re unsure, message us.

How do GLOW beads work?

Accepted Answer

Glow beads are not “constantly glowing.” They are phosphorescent. In the light, they are semi-transparent — pink or yellow. In the dark, they glow depending on how strongly they were exposed to light (from a lamp or sunlight). The pink ones glow orange, and the yellow ones glow yellow.

Can I buy separate beads or other components?

Question 25

What kind of shoes are suitable for jumping?

Accepted Answer

Volleyball shoes are the best, but running shoes or other sneakers with soft soles that absorb impact can work as well. We all have different feet, so it’s important to find what fits well, doesn’t hurt, and feels comfortable. Jumping barefoot is not ideal for the spine and Achilles tendons. (If you wear barefoot shoes, this may not apply, because your body is probably already used to footwear that does not absorb impact.)

Do I need a mat for jumping?

It’s not necessary, but it helps protect your joints, your rope, and your neighbor’s ears if you live in an apartment.

Are short handles or long handles better?

Accepted Answer

It depends... For beginners, basic tricks, mic releases, and speed jumping, we recommend short handles — they are lighter, fit more naturally in your hands, and help you learn to jump with more precise technique. When you start playing with more complex cross tricks under the legs and behind the back, where you need to “reach farther,” it’s time to try long handles. However, even here we recommend learning these tricks with short handles first, so you can refine your technique. Long handles allow you to move more casually, which can be a bit of a disadvantage in the beginning. If you’re unsure, message us.

Question 28

Do I need GRIP TAPE on the handles?

Accepted Answer

Not at all. But it feels nicer in the hand than a “bare” handle. And when swinging fast, it helps prevent the handle from slipping. So if you are already a more advanced jumper and feel that a slippery handle is limiting you, GRIP TAPE can help with that. A “taped” handle is also easier to catch during mic releases.
